Michael Alago has not been sitting idly at home during this pandemic. In fact, Alago knows a lot about virus'. 30 years ago he survived full blown AIDS when there was no approved medications and everyone wondered if they could hug or shake hands with someone who was HIV+. In 2020 Michael was feeling overwhelmed watching too much MSNBC. He loved all the film noir on TCM but that was simply not enough for him. His creative brain started working overtime and the images you see are the result of him getting out his trusty iPhone and Hipstamatic app and started shooting these haunting and beautiful pictures.
